T.L. (Tasha) Cerny is a writer whose work spans television, film, theater, and prose. Her original scripts have earned her spots as a finalist in several fellowships and competitions, including the Austin Film Festival, the Kansas City Fringe Festival, and the WeScreenplay Diverse Voices Script Competition.
In television, T.L.’s credits include The Good Doctor, Daisy Jones and the Six, Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector, Hunters, and Instant Mom. She also co-created Pendemic, a 2020 show featuring interviews with some of Hollywood’s most successful film and TV writers and showrunners. Additionally, T.L. wrote the debut short film My Dead Roommate, which was featured and nominated at two film festivals.
Beyond the screen, T.L.’s personal essays, interviews, and reviews have been widely published across numerous outlets. She originally got her start writing for the theater, with a dedicated focus on poetry and playwriting.

When she’s not at her keyboard, you can find T.L. seeking out her third latte of the day and burning off the jitters playing soccer with her three-legged dog, Shadow.
